Seth D. Sloan, CPA
Seth D. Sloan is the managing partner with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC. Mr. Sloan graduated Fairleigh Dickinson University and worked nine years for the regional firm of J.H. Cohn & Company before coming to the firm in 1978. He has been a Partner since 1980 and the Managing Partner since 1998.


   John L. Parziale, CPA
John L. Parziale is a senior partner with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC. Mr. Parziale graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in January 1968 with a BS in Accounting. He worked for KPMG, LLP for 14 years before joining the firm in September 1982. He became a partner in July 1986 and has been part of the automotive division for over 24 years. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New Jersey, Florida and Connecticut and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of CPAs.


   Jacob P. Weiss, CPA
Jacob P. Weiss is a partner with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC. He was a founding and managing partner of Beck, Weiss & Company, which merged with the Firm in 2003. In 2002, he was recognized by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants for 50 years of service in the profession. A graduate of Bucknell University, he specializes in accounting, auditing and taxation of real estate owners and developers and medical practices. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey.


   Robert J. Brown, CPA
Robert J. Brown is a partner with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC. He has been with the firm for 21 years and serves as their Marketing Director. He is a licensed certified public accountant in the states of New York, Florida, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His background has been with privately-held businesses in the automotive, real estate and entertainment sectors. He started working for a Manhattan CPA firm while attending St. Francis College where he received a BS in accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New York, New Jersey and Florida Societies of Certified Public Accountants. Bob is a member of his church's finance council and serves as the volunteer accountant for St. Leo the Great School. He is treasurer and a member of the Executive Committee of the Lincroft Little League. In addition, he has been the chairman of an annual charity golf outing for the past 12 years.


   Lawrence P. Burns, CPA, CVA
Lawrence P. Burns has been a partner with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC since 1994. He has been a part of the automotive division for more than twenty years. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New Jersey and New York, he is an accredited Certified Valuation Analyst and a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He received a B.A. in Economics/Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. Mr. Burns currently splits his time between the automotive, real estate development and the business divisions. Prior to joining MS&P, he was the Controller for a large wholesale jewelry company in New York City.


   Marvin L. Cohen, CPA, MBA
Marvin L. Cohen is a partner with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC. Marvin has extensive experience with family and closely-held businesses including "S" and "C" Corporations, partnerships, limited liability entities and regulatory agencies. He services more than 150 real estate entities such as developers of commercial and residential properties and HUD projects. Prior to joining the firm, Marvin was a partner in Beck, Weiss & Company, P.A. which merged with Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, at which time he became a partner in MS&P. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New Jersey and New York. Also, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York Society and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. Marvin was an instructor at Fairleigh Dickinson University where he taught accounting. He was past treasurer of Temple Shalom in Aberdeen, New Jersey. He has his B.S. from C.W. Post College and his M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University.


   Elliot J. DeSanto, CPA
Elliot DeSanto is a partner with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC. He joined the firm in 1987 and has a varied background of manufacturing, real estate, medical, retail and small business. He has developed extensive retail automotive experience while maintaining vast knowledge in other industry areas. He has performed general financial statement preparation, forecasts, internal audits, pension/profit sharing/ESOP work, expert witness for automotive financial and compliance issues and business development. Mr. DeSanto has spearheaded the firm growth of non-traditional services, specifically in automotive consulting. For ten years, Mr. DeSanto served as a lead partner in AutoTeam America, a national group of leading CPA firms serving more than 2,000 dealerships. Mr. DeSanto received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with minors in Accounting and Management Science from Kean College in 1976. He has received a Certificate of Educational Achievement for participating in the AICPA Business Valuation, CEA Program. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New Jersey, Florida and a member of the Union County Chapter of Certified Public Accountants, New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.


   Donald Hilker, CVA
Donald Hilker is a partner with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC. He has more than 28 years of professional and business advisory experience with a varied background of health care providers, manufacturers, real estate, wholesalers and professional service companies. Mr. Hilker is the partner is in charge of the Health Care Department of the firm. He has consulted with numerous medical specialties for practices ranging from sole practitioners to large group practices. Mr. Hilker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Monmouth University. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New Jersey and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, Medical Group Management Association and Physicians Viewpoint Network.


   James V. Boland, CPA, CVA
James V. Boland is a partner with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC and has extensive experience in accounting, with an emphasis on the automotive industry. He has performed individual and corporate financial planning, automotive factory financial statement analysis and departmental internal control analysis, product cost studies and inventory valuations, preparation of compilation, review and audited financial statements, liquidations and cash flow planning. Mr. Boland is the partner in charge of Valuation Solutions, LLC, a division of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC, and has been a Certified Valuation Analyst since 1996. He has performed numerous valuations of closely-held companies for estate and gift tax purposes, valuation of stock options, purchasing and selling businesses and stockholder disputes. Mr. Boland is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.


   George E. Berry, Jr., CPA
George E. Berry Jr. is a partner with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC. George has over 28 years of experience in public accounting, the last 20 years with Mironov, Sloan & Parziale LLC specializing in accounting, auditing and taxation of automobile dealerships and other small businesses. He currently heads the firm's Training and Education Committee which is responsible for keeping the firm's professional staff up to date on the latest accounting and auditing pronouncements as well as the ever changing tax laws and regulations. Mr. Berry is responsible for MS&P's quality control over accounting and auditing and represented the firm on the last several peer reviews. In addition, he is the firm's lead partner representing Auto Team America, a group of CPA firms throughout the country, all with significant automotive accounting practices. George also serves on the firm's Executive Committee. A graduate with high honors from Bentley College, Waltham, Massachusetts, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. George is also Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida.


   Irving Jankovitz, CPA
Irving Jankovitz is a partner with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC. He joined the firm in 1987 and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York State and New Jersey specializing in taxation. Prior to his joining the firm, Irving had worked at the CPA firm of Siedman & Siedman in New York City and the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent conducting audits on large corporations and high net worth individuals also in New York City. Irving earned a BS in Accounting from Hunter College and completed graduate courses at Baruch College, both of the City University of New York. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.


   Marc G. Mauro, CPA
Marc G. Mauro is a partner with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC. He has over 35 year experience in public accounting with a concentration in advising medical practices on tax and accounting issues, mergers and developing physician compensation plans. He consults commercial clients on business operations, expansion and succession planning in addition to traditional accounting services as well as audits of 401(k) plans. Marc provides tax and estate planning guidance for individual clients. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and served as a board member of a non-profit organization connected with the University. Marc is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Medical Group Management Association.


   Stuart J. Raskin, CPA
Stuart Raskin is a partner with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC. He has over 25 years experience covering a wide range of closely-held businesses with a strong concentration in automotive dealerships and real estate. He primarily engages in audits, reviews, compilations and tax planning for individual and corporate clients. Mr. Raskin is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. He received his BBA in accounting from Baruch College in New York.


   Albert E. Parziale, CPA, CFE
Albert E. Parziale is a partner with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov Sloan & Parziale, LLC and is in charge of the firm's forensic accounting and litigation support services. He has over 35 years of experience in public accounting. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Mr. Parziale was a partner in a large, regional accounting firm for over 24 years where, in addition to a commercial client base, he specialized in providing litigation support, forensic accounting, damage assessments, expert witness testimony, settlement negotiations and arbitration, mediation and valuation opinions for clients ranging from small, closely held businesses, to professional practices, to government agencies, to Fortune 520 Companies. Mr. Parziale has served as a Court Appointed Master, Examiner, Fiscal Agent and/or Receiver in forensic, valuation and/or business matters and has been appointed in numerous circumstances for various Federal or State agencies. He has also served as an arbitrator offering judgments in disputed financial matters. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New Jersey and New York, as well as a Certified Fraud Examiner. Mr. Parziale is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is also a member of the New Jersey State Society and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.


   John K. Concannon, CPA, MST
John K. Concannon is a partner with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC and has extensive experience in public accounting, with an emphasis on Taxation of corporations (both "C" & "S"), partnerships/LLC's, individuals, estates & trusts. Prior to his joining MSP, John worked as a Partner with Lazar Levine & Felix in Morristown and was also Senior Tax Manager at firms that include Anderson, Rothstein Kass & Amper. He received his Masters of Science in Taxation degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in May of 2006 and his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Accounting from New Jersey City University in June of 1982. Mr. Concannon is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York and New Jersey and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.


   Christine Andrews
Christine Andrews is a consultant with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC. Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, evaluating and critiquing safeguards and expense controls in place in dealerships, and establishing internal controls that lead to more secure methods for safeguarding dealership assets. Christine has worked with more than 100 franchised dealerships in the eastern United States. In addition, she has over 15 years experience working in almost every dealership administrative position along with several management positions including finance manager and controller.


   Sebastiano Banchitta
Sebastiano Banchiita is a consultant with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC. His responsibilities include evaluating and communicating to upper management the financial position of the dealership and suggestions where improvement is necessary. Sebastiano has worked with many franchised dealerships in the eastern United States. In addition, he has over eight years of experience working in every accounting office position along with special projects for various controllers and CFOs.


   Robert Campbell
Rob Campbell serves as one of the resident dealer analysts and consultants with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC, working with dealerships nationally to improve their results from fixed operations as well as helping through difficult warranty audit concerns and negotiations. He has conducted training sessions and worked as a consultant to many dealerships around the country. A frequent and popular speaker at industry events, including five NADA conventions, he is a true professional and a great communicator. In addition to his consulting background, Rob has spent the past fifteen years writing extensively concerning fixed operations management and warranty administration issues. Rob has 17 books or manuals on Fixed Operations management under his belt. He is also an associate of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.


   Michele Desiderio
Michele Desiderio is an automotive consultant with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC. She has been involved with dealerships since the 1980s. She has 13 years experience in automotive management positions where she was responsible for financial statement preparation for over 25 different franchises. She has extensive training in office as well as overall dealership operations. Her other qualifications include, but are not limited to, FTC, sales tax and 8300 compliance; administrative realignment; expense controls including pay plan restructures and support staff training. She also helps dealerships realize the true value of their internal computer system by bringing to the forefront aspects of the system that are underutilized. She has been involved in numerous system conversions and in creating a dealership's entire set of journals, schedules and managerial reports.


   Julia Novik
Julia Novik is a consultant with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC. Julia has over 20 years experience working in every dealership administrative position including controller. Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, training office personnel, evaluating office performance and establishing internal controls, in-depth knowledge of used and wholesale operations. Julia has consulted in over three dozen dealerships while working for the firm.


   Michael Roppo
Michael Roppo is an Automotive Fixed Operations Consultant and Business Development Expert with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC. Michael is a speaker, author, trainer and facilitator with over 27 years of experience. He is also a Partner of Automotive Domain Consulting, which is a consulting group associated with Mironov, Sloan & Parziale.


   Louis Young
Louis Young is the Director of Client Services with the accounting and consulting firm of Mironov, Sloan & Parziale, LLC. He manages business practice issues, regulatory oversight issues, state tax compliance, business brokering assistance and business development. Lou's responsibilities include coordinating specialized services for clients. These include, but are not limited to, line item benchmarking, internal controls, financial statement analysis, fixed operations financial analysis, information safeguarding, operational reviews and warranty analysis. He assists clients with any state regulatory oversight issues, including general compliance, consumer affairs and sales tax issues, provides assistance in the merger or acquisition of businesses in the automotive industry and provides ongoing marketing of accounting and consulting services to automotive industry. Lou develops and implements business alliances to better serve the industry, participates on the New Jersey Business Taxation Committee, providing private sector advise to government leaders and establishes ongoing relationships between the automotive retailing and automobile manufacturing industries.
